Hello Onahan Families,
My name is Lauren Silva and I am Onahan's ELPT (English Lanugage Program Teacher). I work with students, teachers and parents to support multilingual students in their efforts to improve their English Lanugage Proficiency. In my role as Onahan's ELPT, I support students by working with them inside or outside of their classrooms to improve their English Proficiency. I love to see students grow and become more confident learners!

I have been an educator for 17 years and have worked in many diverse neighborhoods throughout Chicago as well as with several grade levels. I started my career as a high school teacher and have since taught middle school, third grade and kindergarten. I've enjoyed working with students of various ages and am so excited that I get to work with different age groups here at Onahan!
