Meet Mrs. Murphy

I am thrilled to return for another fun and informative school year at Onahan. I will be your child's fifth-grade English Language Arts teacher.  Teaching young learners how to express themselves through reading and writing is my passion, and I am excited to help each student grow their skills and confidence in ELA.    

 

I hold a B.A. in Business Management, M.A. in Elementary Education, and a M.A. in Instructional Leadership along with an ESL endorsement. These degrees have equipped me with the knowledge and tools to create engaging, meaningful lessons that meet the diverse needs of my students.     

 

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with friends, and watching my own children excel in and out of the classroom.
