About Me

Hello! My name is Jack Rahlfs, and I'm a 4th Grade ELA teacher at Onahan Elementary School.  Over the years, I've taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and now 4th grade, and I truly love helping students grow through each stage of their learning journey.  I live in the neighborhood and feel lucky to work in the same community where my wife and I are raising our family - my two children, Frankie (4th grade) and Mary (3rd grade), are also proud Onahan students.

I believe in fostering a love of not just reading and writing, but learning in general.  The habits I can help them develop will assist their growth in so many areas, especially as an independent learner.  Each day provides multiple opportunities for increasing resilience, independence, confidence and self-belief, and I look forward to helping them find these moments.
