About Me

Hello! I’m Jennifer Hartman, and I am thrilled to be part of the Onahan community!

My journey in education began at Northeastern University, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education, followed by a Master’s in Curriculum and Instructional Design and an ESL endorsement. Over the past 19 years, I have held many positions. I have taught 2nd and 5th grades, worked as a Library Media Specialist, and served as a Tech Coordinator. Currently, I am entering my sixth year teaching 1st grade, and I absolutely love watching my students grow and gain confidence.

In my free time, you’ll usually find me with my husband, Greg, and our two daughters, Becca and Mia. We enjoy spending time by the water, especially with our dog, Bengii. To keep things balanced and enjoyable, I also love to bake. It’s my favorite way to be creative and relax.

I feel so lucky to be here, and I can’t wait for another fantastic year of learning and growth with all of you!
