About Me

Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Beth Elliott and this school year marks my 29th year at Onahan. I have a degree in Communication and Rhetorical Studies from Marquette University and completed the MAT program in Early Childhood Education at National-Louis University. I am married and have three children-ages 18, 17, and 14. I completed my student teaching at Onahan in second grade and was fortunate enough to be offered a teaching position for the following school year. I taught second grade for 9 years but my heart always belonged to kindergarten. When the position became available, I requested to move down. I always say that I have grown up here at Onahan and that the best parts of my life have happened while working here. The Onahan community is a wonderful, supportive group of families, teachers, administrators and staff. I look forward to getting to know my new class and anticipate a wonderful year of growth.
