About

I am honored to be part of the community as Onahan’s Assistant Principal and to partner with Principal Patten in nurturing the vibrant, student-centered culture that makes our school so special.

My career began on Chicago’s South Side, where I spent five years in the classroom before moving to Skinner West Elementary in the West Loop. There, I served as a teacher-leader for both the Neighborhood and Gifted programs. These experiences deepened my commitment to high expectations for every learner and to the power of strong relationships.

I hold an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction, along with an ESL endorsement, and I am a National Board Certified Teacher. Each step of my journey has been guided by one goal: to make a positive, lasting impact on an entire school community. I am honored to do so in the very neighborhood I call home.

Collaboration and teamwork are the cornerstones of my leadership style. I look forward to working closely with our teachers, staff, parents, and most importantly, our students as we celebrate successes and tackle challenges together in the years ahead.

Please know my door is always open. Feel free to reach out at any time.
